History

November 2006 : Mr Miroslaw Szczesny, of WDH in Poland, suggested to the ETI Converting Equipment management the creation of an association regrouping all ETI technology users to share and exchange technical information on products and equipment.

March 2007: A first meeting was held in Barcelona. A large number of ETI technology users came and expressed their enthusiasm and interest for the association.  The meeting was a real success!

The foundations of the new association were set. Everyone agreed to meet again in September, after Label Expo to elaborate by-laws, select a name and appoint a Board of five directors.

September 2007: ILG (International Label Group), a non-profit organization, was thus created in Brussels. The organization has its head office in Quebec, Canada.

September 2008: the 3rd meeting was held September 12th in Chicago, just after Label Expo and gathered members from 11 countries around the world.

September 2009: the annual meeting took place in Brussels and had a great success. Members exchanged information and discussed very freely on various subjects of common interest.

September 2010: members held their annual meeting at the Hyatt Rosemont, Monday, September 13th, just before Labelexpo. This year, members met for the 5th time. The day was complemented by a tabletop exhibition and a cocktail which was a real success for everyone.

September 2011: annual meeting in Brussels where members met and exchanged with their peers and get inspired by thought leaders from and beyond the labelling industry.
